Way to go!

I'm afraid of the time commitment myself but this is quite inspiring.
I may have to stop making excuses.

Awesome, David! Getting good suggestions from people is one of the bigger reasons I decided to try this project. My group of friends knows so much more than I could even know alone. And then, of course, another great reason for this site is that Robert's humor always lifts me up!

You know Robert, winter does that to me too. I couldn't live much further north. The lack of sunlight in winter can be really tough on a person.

With me I track any physical change on how easy it is to put socks on in the morning. Or whether I can bend down and do up my laces without suddenly tumbling flat on my face.

Winter here is conducive to weight gain for me. A tendency to comfort my way through the darker hours by shoveling lots of naughties into my mouth.

Of course, I look like Kate Moss the rest of the year.

wow, it's great that you're already seeing results!

As for tracking changes, you might want to check out Gyminee ( http://www.gyminee.com/ ). It lets you track fitness and nutrition goals/progress - its free and has a lot of cool features. You can share your results/goals or not - but either way its a handy way to track them. I plan on using it when I start my thing on Monday. :-)
